2024 Ford Escape

The 2024 Escape is available in five trim levels. The Active trim sets the stage with 17-inch steel wheels, LED signature lighting, black roof rails, and a manual liftgate. The ST-Line trim enhances the sporty appeal with 18-inch Rock Metallic-painted aluminum wheels, ST-Line badging, a black grille with a Gloss Black upper surround, and dual exhaust tips. The ST-Line Select adds 18-inch black-painted aluminum wheels, body-color door handles, and a hands-free foot-activated liftgate.

The ST-Line Elite features 19-inch machined-face aluminum wheels, gloss black roof rails, and adaptive LED headlamps. The Platinum trim features 19-inch machined-face aluminum wheels, chrome accents, LED fog lamps, and a power panoramic Vista Roof.

Ford offers two engine options for the 2024 Escape. The standard 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine delivers a robust 180 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, offered on the ST-Line Select, ST-Line Elite, and Platinum trims, generates an impressive 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Escape is engineered for both performance and efficiency. The 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine achieves an impressive fuel economy of up to 27 city/34 highway/30 combined mpg with front-wheel drive and 26 city/32 highway/28 combined mpg with all-wheel drive. The more powerful 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine offers 23 city/31 highway/26 combined mpg with all-wheel drive. The Escape features selectable drive modes, including Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Sand. Intelligent all-wheel drive and torque vectoring control enhance traction and stability, while AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control ensures confident handling on diverse terrains.

The interior is designed to provide comfort and convenience for up to five passengers. The Active trim features cloth seating surfaces, an 8-inch LCD touchscreen, a six-speaker audio system, and single-zone manual climate control. The ST-Line trim adds unique ST-Line sport seats with red stitching, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and ambient interior lighting. The ST-Line Select enhances comfort with a 10-way power driver's seat, dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, and leather-trimmed seats.

The ST-Line Elite offers a premium experience with a Bang & Olufsen sound system with 10 speakers, a wireless charging pad, and a 13.2-inch touchscreen with SYNC 4. The Platinum trim provides ultimate luxury with leather-trimmed seating, heated and ventilated front seats, and a 12.3-inch digital productivity screen. All trims include FordPass Connect with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a 60/40-split folding rear seatback.

The 2024 Ford Escape has a comprehensive suite of safety features. Ford Co-Pilot360 Technology includes pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot information system with cross-traffic alert, a lane-keeping system, auto high-beam headlamps, and a rearview camera. The Escape also features AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control, a personal safety system, a safety canopy system, and an SOS post-crash alert system.
