The 2025 Ford Escape shows off the adventurous style this SUV is known for. With five well-equipped trims, you can choose the perfect companion for your commutes, adventures, and everything in between.
Active
The Escape’s base Active trim comes with a 180-horsepower, 1.5L engine, an 8-speed automatic, and front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional for adventure lovers who need better traction on tricky roads. It’s equipped with 17-inch wheels and LED signature lighting. You’ll also find safety tech like automatic emergency braking, a lane-keeping system, and a blind spot information system.
Inside, the Active model is outfitted with cloth seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an 8-inch SYNC 4 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. You’ll also find a 6-speaker audio system, an 8-inch instrument cluster, and USB ports to charge your devices. A panoramic moonroof is available.
ST-Line
On the ST-Line and up, a 2.5L hybrid powertrain is available for eco-conscious drivers. It returns an impressive 39 mpg combined, with 42 mpg city and 36 mpg highway. The ST-Line upgrades to partial vinyl and cloth seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel, both with red stitching.
The driver’s seat gains 8-way power adjustability, making it easy for you to find the perfect driving position. Exterior upgrades include 18-inch wheels, a rear skid plate, and ST-Line badging.
ST-Line Select
Moving up, the ST-Line Select peps up the power with a 2.0L engine that makes 250 horsepower. It rocks 18-inch wheels and adds fog lights, heated mirrors, and a power liftgate. This model steps up the interior comfort with heated front seats and a heated, flat-bottom steering wheel.
ST-Line Elite
The ST-Line Elite is made for wanderlust. It comes standard with 19-inch wheels and AWD to give you better control on tricky terrain and wet or icy roads. You’ll also find safety add-ons like adaptive cruise control, post-collision braking, parking sensors, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
Cabin upgrades include a 6-way power passenger seat, a 10-way power driver’s seat, wireless charging, and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster. This trim replaces the base center unit with a larger 13.2-inch touchscreen display that has connected navigation.
Platinum
Platinum is the ultimate comfort trim on the Escape lineup. It upgrades to perforated ActiveX-trimmed sport seats that give the cabin a luxury vibe. There’s a memory system for the front seats as well. Optional upgrades include a head-up display, quilted seats, and a 10-speaker Bose sound system.
Plug-in Hybrid
The Escape Plug-in Hybrid features a 2.5L PHEV powertrain with a total output of 210 horsepower. It offers 37 miles of electric driving and is rated for 101 MPGe. It comes with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an 8-way power driver’s seat, and a 13.2-inch infotainment display.
