BlueCruise
BlueCruise takes hands-free driving to the next level. This system operates on over 97% of the highways in the US and Canada, which is more than 130,000 miles of blacktop. When you activate BlueCruise, the system uses cameras, lidar, radar, and real-time mapping to keep you centered in your lane, control your speed, and take you where you want to go.
It will automatically slow down or stop in response to vehicles ahead of you. BlueCruise isn’t self-driving, so you do need to keep an eye on the road and intervene if necessary. It also includes a dynamic driver response system with a camera to monitor you. If it determines you’re tired or distracted, based on your posture and head and eye positions, you’ll receive visual and audio warnings that it’s time to pull over and take a break.
Co-Pilot360
Co-Pilot360 is an advanced suite of driver assistance systems that gives you added peace of mind on the road. These systems use radar, cameras, and sensors that continually scan the area around your vehicle and warn you of potentially dangerous situations. You receive audio and visual alerts, and some of these systems will actively intervene to brake and prevent an accident.
Pre-Collision Alert with Automatic Emergency Braking, for example, uses radar and a camera to identify any vehicle in front of your Ford. When a vehicle is detected, the radar measures the distance to it and compares this distance to your present speed. If you’re closing too fast, the system alerts you to slow down. If you can’t react in time, emergency braking will bring your Ford to an almost instant stop to prevent a collision.
Ford Connected Services
Ford Connected Services is a range of digital packages that provide entertainment and security. These services include navigation, entertainment, theft alerts, and more. Every 2025 Ford includes a complimentary three-month trial of all its features. Once the trial period is up, you can subscribe to renew the services you want to keep.
The FordPass app is downloadable for iPhone and Android, and allows you to pair your smartphone with your Ford. You can make and receive calls, send and receive emails, and access your smartphone playlist hands-free. In addition, you can remotely access many of your vehicle’s features, including checking its maintenance schedule or locking or unlocking the doors.
