Trim Levels of the 2025 Ford Expedition: Ultimate Comfort

The Ford Expedition is highly-regarded because it offers the luxury, power, space, and comfort that drivers covet in a full-size three-row SUV. Built with Ford’s high standard for quality, the 2025 Ford Expedition continues to provide an elevated driving experience, with dependable and efficient power, superior standard safety features, and a well-appointed cabin loaded with infotainment and convenience features available across its four trim levels.

Trim Levels of the 2025 Ford Expedition

Two Sizes: Expedition and Expedition MAX

The Expedition lineup offers two variants of each trim level except the Tremor: the standard Expedition and the extended Expedition MAX. The primary difference between the two versions is the size and cargo capacity. The Expedition has 21.6 cubic feet of standard cargo space that can expand to 108.5 cubic feet with the rear two rows folded. The MAX offers 36.1 cubic feet of dedicated cargo space and up to 123.1 cubic feet of space with seats folded.

Active

The Expedition Active is the base model in the lineup, but there’s nothing basic about the many amenities it offers drivers. The standard powerplant is the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that generates 400 horsepower and 480 foot-pounds of torque, and both RWD and 4WD versions are available. The Active has features like a power upper liftgate and lower tailgate, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control.

Platinum

The Platinum trim level steps up in class with additional features not found in the Active version. Those features include 360-degree zone lighting, rain-sensitive windshield wipers, a Panoramic Vista roof, bright stainless roof-rack side rails, power-deployable running boards, power-folding sideview mirrors, Intelligent Access, remote start, power-adjustable brake and accelerator pedals, a 110V AC outlet, and a B&O 10-speaker sound system.

King Ranch

The partnership between Ford and the King Ranch brand goes back decades, but it has always represented rugged luxury and purpose-driven performance. The Expedition King Ranch trim level includes unique features such as a special King Ranch grille, an innovative engine sound enhancer, enhanced active noise control, front door scuff plates featuring the King Ranch logo, and a Mesa/ Ebony interior with Del Rio leather seats and trim.

Tremor

The Tremor trim level is built to tackle all-terrain travel, and it incorporates many off-road features that help it conquer obstacles. Its unique features include a 3.5-liter high-output EcoBoost engine that produces 440 horsepower, a heavy-duty engine radiator, fuel tank underbody protection, modified Raptor skid plates, a modified Higher Ride suspension with premium passive shocks, 18-inch all-terrain tires, and a 3.73 electronic locking rear differential.

The Expedition has a trim level for almost every lifestyle, and each is loaded with premium features that set it apart from other full-size SUVs in its class.
